Training



Vivamos TDT offers training in welding and metal work for young people in Itzapa and its environs.

Metal work and manufacturing of welded structures are common in Guatemala and the significance of this activity is likely to increase. However, the practical and theoretical knowledge is low and an education in the basics of metal work and welding technology will have significant importance both for the continued professional life of the individual as well as for the society.

The education, which consists of three levels, is aimed at young people with little or no resources and is free of charge for these. The education is financed with income from other activities within Vivamos TDT and with external contributions.

Certificate together with course description are issued after approved completion of each level.
